Area di progetto Stazione di Fortezza GALLERIA DI BASE DEL BRENNERO BRENNER BASISTUNNEL Il portale sud della Galleria di base del Brennero Il portale sud della Galleria di base del Brennero si troverà in corrispondenza della stazione di Fortezza. Qui la nuova linea ferroviaria uscirà dalla montagna, per correre ca. 700 metri in superficie, affiancando i binari della stazione di Fortezza, e poi immettersi nella tratta sotterranea della linea di accesso Fortezza- Ponte Gardena, il cui portale sarà situato alla radice sud della stazione. I treni che effettueranno servizio viaggiatori nella stazione di Fortezza, troveranno delle interconnessioni con la linea storica ca. 2 km a nord di Fortezza, attualmente in costruzione nel lotto “Sottoattraversamento del fiume Isarco”. The new railway line from Innsbruck will re-emerge here, run parallel to the existing rail line for about 700 m and disappear underground again south of the station into the Fortezza-Ponte Gardena tunnel, which is part of the access route. Trains stopping in Fortezza will travel through connecting tunnels between the existing line and the Brenner Base Tunnel, located north of the town.
